You study the theory yourself, with a study package that comes with your practical course. Anything that stays unclear is discussed during your lesson.
From the age of 16 and up you can take your theory test. After obtaining the theory certificate it is valid for 1.5 years.
Self study works well
With the theory study package it is possible to study the theory on your own. Should you still have questions or doubts, there is always the opportunity to discuss these during the practical lessons.
The theory study package
The theory study package comes with the practical training. It consists of a theory book and a code which provides access to 10 hours of online theory questions and mock tests.
Booking the test yourself
You can sign up for the theory test yourself on the CBR site. The advantage of this is that you can choose the date and time most suitable for you.
Theory and practice are separate. The theory certificate is not required in order to follow driving lessons. You do, however, need the theory certificate if you are going to take the practical test.

From what age can I take the theory test?
From the age of 16 you can take your theory test. Once obtained, the theory certificate is valid for 1.5 years.
